Belair National Park Entry Building
Belair National Park is listed on the Register of the National Estate. It is South Australia’s first National Park and the second oldest in Australia.
The entry building provides the functional base for the Park providing for fee collection on entry, staff facilities and a small visitor information centre. The design is viewed from all directions and uses a variety of forms and materials to reduce its scale in the landscape, reduce its utilitarian character and to link with the diversity of other small structures within the park.
The construction of the new building incorporated a redevelopment of the surrounding precinct including a new road system.
