Belair National Park
Belair National Park is listed on the Register of the National Estate. It is South Australia’s first National Park and the second oldest in Australia. For over one hundred years the Park as been an important recreation venue for South Australians in addition to being of high conservation significance.
An intensive upgrade of minor facilities has progressed through several stages and is ongoing. Visitor amenity been significantly improved through the provision of a variety of new and restored shelters, arbors and amenities. An increase in conservation areas is achieved through consolidation and replanning of siteworks.
A major upgrade of the Entry Precinct includes a new Reception Building and road network.
