Norwood Primary School

The Norwood Primary School was established in 1877.  State and Local Heritage listings apply to the majority of buildings.

Comprehensive redevelopment relocates Administration functions providing a central reception point and service hub for the 300 student campus.  Buildings are extended and modified to provide versatile teaching nodes and a new Resource Centre.

New additions incorporate high level windows to provide daylight and ventilation to internal spaces.  Aesthetic treatments are contemporary in character incorporating the proportions of the original buildings.

Landscape designs ensure suitability for intensive use and include creation of legible, shaded  circulation and external teaching spaces.
